New items among trappists
A new addition to the extensive collection of Trappist beers.
From September 25 in all restaurants of Brasserie Lambic you can taste Trappist ale Mont des Cats (France/Belgium, Belleau) - 7.6% alcohol, at a price of 560 rubles for a bottle of 0.33ml.
The monks started brewing beer in the Cistercian abbey of Mont des Cats back in 1847, but in 1905, after the separation of church and state, beer production was transferred to secular breweries, and in 1930 it was stopped altogether. since 2011, production facilities are located in Belgium, at the Chimay brewery, where this great ale is brewed.
The aroma is strong with dried fruit. The taste is soft and spicy at the same time. Slightly caramel, but not too sweet. In the aftertaste toffee, licorice, dried fruit and rough, but not pungent hops.
We recommend to combine with grilled meat or chicken.
Every Wednesday at Brasserie Lambic, the restaurant waives the markup on ten popular menu items. Through mid-May, guests can enjoy the menu’s best-sellers at cost price every Wednesday. Ten dishes from the main menu are featured in the promotion each week, and the selection will change weekly. Lambic continues to introduce you to contemporary art. Together with the TIKHO gallery, we present the RE:pair exhibition, which you can view on the walls of the Lambic restaurant at 33/1 Gogolevsky Boulevard. The RE:pair exhibition is a process of reassembly. — The prefix RE: indicates a return, rethinking, and repetition. — Pair in the title refers to the format of a duet — two authors, two types of sensitivity, two trajectories.— RE:pair can also be read as repair — a “fix” or “restoration.” But here we are not talking about a return to the original, but about reassembly. Authors Anastasia Malinovskaya and Yan Tikhonenko lead the viewer on a journey from rigid logic to a new, more sensitive perception of the world — to the lost irrational, suppressed in the process of adaptation to the social structure. The TIKHO Gallery is an independent gallery founded by Irina and Yan Tikhonenko. The gallery is located in Moscow, in an old 19th-century mansion on Chistye Prudy.
